Position: Autobody Technician

An auto body technician is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body parts, including frames, panels, doors, and bumpers, by using various techniques like welding, sanding, and body filling, to restore a vehicle's appearance to pre-accident condition, often including paintwork, following manufacturer specifications and industry standards; they assess damage, determine repair methods, and may also perform custom body modifications depending on the shop's services.
Key responsibilities of an auto body technician:
Damage assessment:
Inspecting vehicles to identify the extent of collision damage, including frame damage, and determining the necessary repair procedures.
Part removal and replacement:
Disassembling damaged vehicle components, removing old parts, and installing new replacement parts.
Body panel repair:
Utilizing techniques like frame straightening, pulling dents, and welding to repair damaged body panels.
Surface preparation:
Sanding, cleaning, and prepping surfaces for paint application to ensure a smooth finish.
Fiberglass repair:
Repairing damaged fiberglass components on vehicles using specialized techniques.
Painting:
Applying primer, base coat, and clear coat paint to repaired areas, ensuring color matching and proper finish.
Detailing:
Performing final finishing touches like buffing and polishing to restore the vehicle's appearance.
Maintaining tools and equipment:
Cleaning and properly storing tools and equipment used in the repair process.

Position: Auto Body Technician

Seeking a reliable, dedicated, committed individual with auto body experience and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. A strong work ethic is a must to meet deadlines, all while maintaining our strict quality standards.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Qualifications:
• You are at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Dependable with strong work-ethic
• 2-3-years autobody technician experience (Willing to train the right candidate)
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates and work orders
